HCL AppScan, previously known as IBM AppScan, is a market-leading suite of application security scanning testing tools available on Cloud, On-prem, or a hybrid of both. To build on its long-standing history of service, AppScan needed a Go-To-Market Strategy centered around a fresh, new homepage web design complete with the inclusion of a new product page for its B2C scanning solution to showcase the entire HCL AppScan offering. Our founding team member’s first step towards meeting this challenge was determining the customer usability of HCL AppScan’s current website layout through Crazy Egg’s analysis tool. The second step consisted of the website development process and collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure the new design was unanimously approved and brand-compliant before deployment. Following its launch, he continued monitoring the new website’s performance to proactively identify any features in need of improvement for maximal customer engagement and integration. The final design yielded a 65% CTR increase for free trials and a +35% decrease in bounce rate.
